Mayor Jane Castor held her annual event of fireworks downtown on the bay for all to see. People from miles around came down to Bay to Bay street in Tampa to watch the fireworks. Those that lived in the downtown area, hung out on their balconies or hotel windows or from restaurant patios, but from whatever view they looked from, they definitely saw a grand spectacle. The Mayor and her group of invitees watched the fireworks from a balcony in the Bayshore area where there was a clear view of the Florida sky.

At dusk, the fireworks began, to sparkle, sparkle, and then crackle, crackle, and then, and then, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! What a sight to see in the bay. If you weren't there this year, don't miss next year as the Boom By The Bay is the place to be for fireworks on the 4th of July.
